About Me.

I value authenticity and experimentation in story-telling, and costume design is one my favorite means of communicating the truth and life inherent in theatre. In costume design, I am liberated by the integration of my loves for performance, painting, movement, history, sewing, and fashion.

I desire to bring my artistic passions to a thriving community of artists and contribute my unique point of view. Creative problem solving excites and inspires me. I love to tell stories and create worlds, delving into the delicious details of a period, exploring the nuances of a character, or expanding on a creative vision.

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV dancing and drawing from a young age. I connected deeply with the expression, conviction, and poetry I found in dance and soon expanded that passion to theatre. I attended Baylor University on a full tuition merit scholarship, where I pursued both performance and design, and received a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with an emphasis in Costume Design. I went on to study Costume Design at the graduate level at Carnegie Mellon University, completing summer internships at Main State Music Theatre and Chautauqua Theatre Company. I then came home to Las Vegas, where I worked as Display Artist at Anthropologie, creating artistic installations from unique materials, and working in Retail Management and Merchandizing. I am currently pursuing an MFA in Costume Design from UNLV. I also work as a Freelance Costume Designer, most recently returning as a Guest Costume Designer at Baylor University Theatre for the third time to design their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.
